This tutorial will show you how to edit files in the File Management system. There are many things you can edit in the system including the file name, file importance, and location in the management structure.
Step 1 - Login to the File Management system, find out how here.
Step 2 - To edit a file name simply select the file you want then you can edit the current name in the File Information section on the right of the page, once you are happy click "Save" and your changes will be updated.
Step 3 - You can also use the File Information panel to edit the importance of the file by changing the flag state, and add notes to the file for other people using the box at the bottom. As with changing the file name once you are happy click "Save" and your changes will be updated.
Step 4 - If you want to move the file into another folder simple drag the file to the new location and let go this will automatically move the file to its new location.
Step 5 - You can also add a new folder by clicking "Create Folder" on the top menu and giving your folder a name on the right the same way you change a file name.
